Amitabh Bachchan to watch Djokovic and Murray battle live
While the rest of India will wake up from their slumber to watch the US Open men’s final between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray on their television sets, India’s biggest Bollywood star will be watching the final inside the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
Big B – Amitabh Bachchan – will be among the 23,000 fans watching as Britain’s Andy Murray will hope to end a 76-year drought for his nation at Grand Slam events among the men. Murray has played in four Grand Slam finals, most recently at Wimbledon in July, but has yet to win a major. On the other hand, Djokovic will be aiming for his sixth career Grand Slam title.
Mr. Bachchan, who has been spending time with son Abhishek on the sets of the latter’s upcoming film DHOOM 3, flew into New York earlier today.
