Andy Murray agrees deal with Aesop to create personalized brand identity
World number three Andy Murray has agreed a deal with branding agency Aesop which will see the agency create a brand identity for the player and his new management company named 77.
The agency was selected after and eight way bidding process and will be responsible for creating two identities: one for the player and his equipment and other for his company which handles commercial affairs.
“His Wimbledon success secured a new chapter for British tennis. For us, winning the opportunity to create and narrate his story and deliver an iconic identity for both him and his company is a grand slam,” said Aesop’s executive creative director Martin Grimer addressing Murray.
Murray will join the lights of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in having a personalized brand identity.
