The fourth day of main-draw action at the 2023 Argentina Open in Buenos Aires on Thursday (February 16) will feature four second-round matches to complete the quarterfinal lineup.
On Wednesday, the likes of Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Tallon Griekspoor emerged victorious to seal their place in the last eight of the ATP 250 event.

Lucky loser Dominic Thiem will take on qualifier Juan Pablo Varillas for a place in the last eight at the Argentina Open.
The 99th-ranked Thiem opened his account for the season with a straight-sets win over seventh seed Alex Molcan. Meanwhile, World No. 101 Varillas also got off the mark in 2023 by beating Joao Sousa.
Thiem won their lone meeting in the 2022 Gstaad quarterfinals and could repeat the trick on his favored surface.
Prediction: Thiem to win in three sets.
#2 Jaume Munar vs Francisco Cerundolo
Jaume Munar will take on fifth seed Francisco Cerundolo for a place in the last eight at the Argentina Open.
The 67th-ranked Munar opened his account for the season by beating home hope Guido Pella in the first round. Meanwhile, World No. 30 Cerundolo improved to 5-4 in 2023 by overcoming Yannick Hanfmann in his tournament opener.
While the two players have not clashed before, expect Cordoba quarterfinalist Cerundolo to take this one.
Prediction: Cerundolo to win in straight sets.
#3 Pedro Cachin vs Lorenzo Musetti
Home favorite Pedro Cachin will take on third seed Lorenzo Musetti as a place in the Argentina Open last eight beckons.
The World No. 68 Cachin got off the mark in 2023 on his sixth attempt by beating Thiago Monteiro in his tournament opener. Meanwhile, the 20th-ranked Musetti is 4-2 on the season after opening the year with four wins at the United Cup.
The pair hasn't met before, but Musetti should ride his superior momentum and emerge victorious.
Prediction: Musetti to win in straight sets.
#4 Diego Schwartzman (2022 Argentina Open finalist) vs Bernabe Zapata Miralles
Fourth seed Diego Schwartzman will open his Buenos Aires campaign against Spain's Bernabe Zapata Miralles.
Schwartzman, ranked No. 32 in the world, dropped to 1-3 on the season after stumbling in his Cordoba opener last week. Meanwhile, World No. 74 Zapata Miralles beat his compatriot Pedro Martinez in the first round to improve to 2-3 in 2023.
In their first career meeting, expect Schwartzman, last year's finalist, to beat the Spaniard.
Prediction: Schwartzman to win in three sets.
