ATP Montpellier Open: Where to watch, Live stream details and more
After the completion of the 2019 Australian Open and the Davis Cup qualifiers, it is time for some ATP World Tour action as there are as many as three ATP 250 events taking place this week, ATP Sofia Open, ATP Cordoba Open and ATP Open Sud de France, also known as ATP Montpellier Open.
The Montpellier Open is set to have a star-studded field as the likes of former Australian Open finalist Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, big-serving Ivo Karlovic, Philipp Kohlschreiber, Mischa Zverev etc. will be a part of the tournament. 2019 Australian Open semi-finalist Lucas Pouille will be the top seed while Belgian David Goffin will be the second seed.
The ninth edition of the season will also feature stars like Canadian youngster Denis Shapovalov and local favourite Gilles Simon, who are also the third and fourth seeds respectively, Ernests Gulbis, Tomas Berdych etc. Pouille is also the defending champion as he won the title last year, defeating Richard Gasquet 7–6(2), 6–4 in the final.
This is seen as the perfect preparation for the upcoming ATP 1000 tournaments, Indian Wells Open and Miami Open which will get underway in the first and third week of March.
