Australian Open 2019: Novak Djokovic vs Daniil Medvedev: Where to watch & live stream details

The fourth round of the Australian Open began today and we witnessed the tournament's biggest upset as Greek sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated 20-time Grand Slam champion and 2-time defending champion Roger Federer in 4 sets on Rod Laver Arena.

Maria Sharapova, Sloane Stephens, and Angelique Kerber were knocked out as well.

The top half of the draw will play their fourth round matches on January 21 as world no. 1 Novak Djokovic gets ready to take on Russia's Daniil Medvedev on Rod Laver Arena.

Djokovic dropped his first set of the tournament in the third round against Denis Shapovalov. However, he found it easy for the rest of the match, eventually winning it in 4 sets. Prior to that, he defeated Mitchell Krueger in the first round before winning his match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in straight sets.

Medvedev, on the other hand, is in inspired form and has not dropped a single set throughout the tournament so far. He defeated David Goffin 6-2, 7-6(3), 6-3 in the previous round.

Djokovic and Medvedev have faced each other twice so far and the Serb has come out on top on both occasions.

This will be their first ever meeting in a Grand Slam event.
