Australian Open 2019: Rafael Nadal vs James Duckworth: Where to watch & live stream details
The 2019 Australian Open is just hours away from getting underway and all eyes in the Men's Singles category will be on the Big 4, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray. Barring Djokovic, the other three will get their tournament underway on day 1.
While Federer and Murray will take on Denis Istomin and Roberto Bautista Agut respectively, Nadal, the 2009 Men's Singles champion, will play his first round match against local favourite James Duckworth, who was a wildcard entrant to the tournament.
This match is scheduled to take place at the Rod Laver Arena and this will be the second match on the court in the day session after Maria Sharapova vs Harriet Dart.
The 26-year-old Aussie international is ranked 254 in the world and is yet to face Nadal in his career. The World no. 2 is expected to have a cakewalk in his opening round fixture but he should be wary of his opponent because he has a history of losing to relatively unknown players in Grand Slams and Duckworth will be having the Aussie crowd backing him.
