Bryan brothers notch up another ATP 1000 win at Paris

Bob and Mike Bryan won their 32nd ATP Masters 1,000 title and 102nd overall here Sunday at the at BNP Paribas Masters, as they beat Marcin Matkowski and Jurgen Melzer.

The Bryan brothers won 7-6 (5), 5-7, 10-6, Xinhua reported.

The ninth victory of the year for the American brothers, in an hour and 37 minutes, got them 170,000 euros in prize money, alongside 1,000 ATP points.

Even before kicking off their defending campaign here, the American duo already clinched the year-end No.1 spot in ATP doubles team rankings for a record 10th time, and booked their 12th trip to season-ending World Tour Finals in London as top seeds.

Their opponents in the final, Matkowski from Poland and Melzer from Austria, however, were playing in their first tournament together as a team.
