Croatian Cilic hopes for 'something big' in Rio
Rio de Janeiro, Aug 2 (IANS) Croatian tennis player Marin Cilic hopes he would be able to achieve "something big" in his third consecutive Olympic Games.
The 27-year-old did not pass the second round at Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and expects to improve his record at the Games in Rio, reports Xinhua.
"We will see this year what I have learned from my other Olympics. I hope these Olympics can be a shot for something big," said the 2014 US Open winner on Monday.
The World No.14 will play along with compatriot Borna Coric, 19, in the singles and pairs up with Marin Draganja in the doubles.
"It's going to be definitely much more positive for us here because we have good wins behind us," said Cilic. "It is very important for us because the Davis Cup boosted all of our confidence.
"We just want to play well for our country's colours," he said.
