Czech Republic names Fed Cup team

Prague - Czech Fed Cup team captain Petr Pala Wednesday nominated the team for the Fed Cup semi-final match to be played in Palermo, Italy, April 20-21.

The team constitutes of Petra Kvitova, Klara Zakopalova, Lucie Safarova, Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka, reports Xinhua.

Pala said he will announce the final roster on the spot according to the health condition and form of the players.

This will be the sixth match between the Czech team and Italians since the independence of Czech Republic in 1993. The Italians have won four times. The Czechs beat the Italians 4-1 in semifinal at home in 2012.
