Roger Federer cruises into third round at Indian Wells
Four-time Indian Wells champion Roger Federer took 63 minutes to defeat Diego Schwartzman 6-4, 6-2 in the second round. Federer continued his aggresive game plan by making many forays to the net and finishing points quickly. He won 13 out of 14 points at the net and faced no break points in the whole match. The World No. 2 hit 122 mph ace to set up the match point and finished the match with a forehand winner. Now, He is just 2 wins away from 50 career wins at Indian Wells.
In the third round, Federer will face Andreas Seppi who stunned him in the Australian open third round in four sets. Federer will definitely have revenge on his mind when he will face the Italian.
After winning titles in Brisbane and Dubai this year, Federer is seeking to win 24th Masters 1000 title of his career.
