Ferrer to play Nadal in French Open final

David Ferrer defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-1, 7-6 (7/3), 6-2 in the French Open semi-finals on Friday and will play fellow Spaniard Rafael Nadal in Sunday’s final.

Defending champion Nadal earlier defeated top seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7 (3/7), 9-7 in the first of the semi-finals.
