The American will look to carry her momentum further and stage a deep run in Paris.

Madison Keys vs Renata Zarazua prediction

Keys has gone 11-2 on the red clay this season.
Keys has gone 11-2 on the red clay this season.

Clay has not been the happiest hunting ground for Madison Keys, whose power-packed game is better suited for the quicker surfaces.

This year, however, she has put together an impressive 11-2 win-loss on the red clay. That includes a title in Strasbourg. She has shown her ability to outhit opponents on the surface, but will also need to play the patient game.

The American is prone to going off-kilter on occasion, but her recent form should give her confidence. If she can continue to play with measured aggression, she should be able to hit past her opponent.

Renata Zarazua’s strength lies in her movement and defensive prowess. She will do her best to prolong rallies and frustrate Keys into overpressing.

Prediction: Keys to win in straight sets
