Halle Open: 'I feel lucky' says Andy Murray, ahead of making his return to the court at Queens
Andy Murray described himself as 'feeling lucky' as he prepares to make a return to competitive tennis at the Fever Tree Championships at Queens Club in London, following five months recuperation from hip surgery.
The former world number one and two-time Wimbledon champion will team up with Feliciano Lopez to compete in the doubles competition.
Murray was keen to stress that a return to competitive singles remains the ultimate aim, but argued that doubles seems like a good step to make - despite his previous reluctance regarding it.
Lopez and Murray will face top seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Rober Farah in their first round match.
