Coco Gauff and Carlos Alcaraz are two of the most popular athletes at the Paris Olympics in 2024. The two young tennis stars are enjoying fandom like never before as they prepare to compete at their first-ever Olympic games.

Gauff and Alcaraz have both opted to stay at the Olympic Village, where they are joined by other athletes from all over the globe. The Olympic Village in Paris has been specially developed to accommodate all the athletes participating in the games.

Coco Gauff is set to represent the USA for her first-ever Olympics and the American star is enjoying the spotlight. The 20-year-old has been highly active on social media, diving into the latest trends with her American teammates.

Coco Gauff joined Jessica Pegula and Camila Osorio in dancing to the hit song 'si anter te hubiera conocido'. The trio were seen showing off their dance moves before the start of their Olympic campaign.

Osario posted the video on her Instagram account and it generated quite an engagement.

The American contingent consisting of Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Danielle Collins, Emma Navarro and Desirae Krawczyk even posted a hilarious video of themselves recreating the famous 'attitude check' inspired by Simona Biles and the rest of the US gymnasts team.

Gauff, Pegula, Collins and Krawczyk showed off their skills in front of the camera before Collins decided to twerk at the end of the video, leaving Gauff in splits.

Similar to Gauff, Carlos Alcaraz is attracting a lot of interest from the athletes at the Olympic Village. The young Spaniard is the most in-form tennis player in the world having won the French Open and Wimbledon in the last two months. His form and rapid rise to stardom are evident during the Olympic games as he is seemingly the most sought-after sports star for selfies among other athletes.

According to Spanish coach David Ferrere, Alcaraz and Nadal have generated great fandom with athletes queueing up to take a picture with them. Alcaraz has been the star of the show with other athletes from other sports posing for the camera with the Spaniard.

Carlos Alcaraz has already posted pictures with the Egyptian table tennis star Hana Goda. The young Spaniard also posed for a picture with the Netherlands women's hockey team during his time at the Olympic Village. Also, badminton stars Tiffany Ho and Thinaah Muralitharan posted their picture with Alcaraz on their social media account.

Coco Gauff excited to be the US flag-bearer and Carlos Alcaraz set to play doubles with Rafael Nadal

Coco Gauff is set to be the flag-bearer for Team USA at the Olympic games, along with LeBron James. The American will be the first women's tennis player to be given the honour and become the youngest American flag bearer in history. This will be Gauff's maiden Olympic campaign having withdrawn from the Tokyo 2021 edition due to Covid.

While Gauff is set to be the American flag bearer, Carlos Alcaraz is excited about the prospect of teaming up with his double partner Rafael Nadal. The young Spaniard hailed Nadal as his idol growing up and admitted that competing with him was a dream come true.

"There is no better way to make my debut in the Olympic Games than to debut in doubles with Rafa. We are going to give our best and hopefully we can enjoy a good game," Alcaraz said.

Carlos Alcaraz will start the Olympics as the favourite to continue his incredible run of form having won two Grand Slam titles in a row for the first time. The Spaniard will look to add an Olympic gold medal during his maiden campaign at Paris in 2024.
