Husband: Martina Hingis assaulted me, and is a serial adulterer
Former world number one Martina Hingis has been accused of being a “serial adulterer”, according to her ex-husband Thibault Hutin.
The incrimination didn’t stop here as Hutin revealed that Hingis and her mother Melanie Molitor had allegedly “beaten and scratched him” in an argument in July. He said that the Swiss legend, along with her mother and Mario Widmer, Molitor’s boyfriend, beat him with a “DVD player to the head“.
In his account to the Swiss police, Hutin reported that the three of them went to his apartment in Pfäffikon, beat him and then took possession of his passport and credit cards.
In Hutin’s account, this is what transpired on Monday evening: “I was in our shared apartment when the doorbell rang. In the course of a dispute with Martina, she and her mother Melanie Molitor pounced on me, beating and scratching. My upbringing forbids me to beat women. I resisted every effort, as has been taught to me. Mario Widmer, the partner of Melanie, hurled a DVD player to my head. ”
That, reportedly, wasn’t the end of it. Hutin later found that his passport and his credit cards were missing. He immediately went to the police in Pfäffikon. “The policemen went with me back to the apartment and forced the three to surrender my valuables.”
In an interview with Blick in July, Hutin revealed that he had caught Hingis in bed with another man, and he went ahead to label her as a ‘serial adulterer’.
In that interview, he went on to chastise Hingis’ personal views on life and life on the WTA tour: “Martina has a very personal conception of morality. She has always been like that; I think she has always been unfaithful to her boyfriends. She is not alone in the tennis world, which I now know quite well. But I thought she was different from the others, that she really loved me.”
Hingis, a possessor of five Grand Slam titles, met Hutin at a show-jumping competition in St. Tropez in 2010 and after a whirlwind romance, they decided to tie the know the same year.
Hutin also claimed that he wasn’t aware of his split with the Swiss Miss until he read about it in a Swiss magazine Schweizer Illustrierten.
Hingis’ comments about the latest slander are not known yet.
