Caroline Garcia vs Alycia Parks prediction
Garcia will enter the match as the favorite, but Parks should not be written given the way she has performed throughout the tournament.
Garcia produced a dominant service display in her semifinal against Camila Osorio, serving seven aces and winning 32 out of 40 points on her first serve. However, her second serve could have been better as she won only six out of 15 points.
She will look to make the most out of her strong serve and groundstrokes. Her brilliant on-court movement will also be useful against Parks.
Parks was also very strong on her first serve during her semifinal against Zanevska. The 22-year-old served 13 aces and won 40 out of 58 points on her first serve. However, she made seven double-faults and can't afford to repeat that against Garcia. Parks will have to bring her A-game if she is to win her maiden WTA title on Sunday.
While the American has had an incredible tournament, Garcia's experience and form should see her win her first title of the 2023 season.
Pick: Garcia to win in straight sets.
