Former Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova recently took to her social media to share a picture of herself with famous YouTuber, MrBeast.
Sharapova is highly active on social media and the picture she shared understandably garnered a range of reactions from fans worldwide. Some tennis enthusiasts were left puzzled about the identity of the man in the picture. Others were thrilled to see their beloved tennis player alongside their favorite YouTuber.
On Wednesday, the five-time Grand Slam champion met Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast in Park City, Utah. Sharapova took to Twitter to share a photo of the unlikely duo, while also teasing the possibility of launching her own TikTok account.
"A duo you may not have expected to see today. Now I just need a Tik Tok account," Sharapova captioned her post.

Maria Sharapova shared insights about her relationship with tennis icon Billie Jean King after her victory at the 2008 Australian Open.
The Russian, who was seeded fifth in the tournament, dominated her opponents throughout the tournament. She reached the final with straight-set victories over Jelena Tosic, Lindsay Davenport, Elena Vesnina, Elena Dementieva, Justine Henin, and Jelena Jankovic.
Sharapova emerged victorious in the final against Ana Ivanovic, securing her third Grand Slam singles title. She achieved this feat without losing a single set throughout the entire tournament.
During her post-match press conference, the former World No. 1 shared that she had received a congratulatory message from Billie Jean King.
Sharapova went on to reveal that King had always been one of the first people to reach out to her, whether she was celebrating a hard-earned victory or struggling through a difficult time.
"She's always one of the first people to text me when either I'm having a tough moment or a great win," Maria Sharapova said.
"It's wonderful because she's just done so much for the game and such a great supporter of the sport. You know, to spend, whatever it is, a minute of her life sending me a text, is wonderful, you know, wishing me the best."
Sharapova notably had an impressive 2008 season, winning 32 out of her 36 matches. She embarked on a 18-match winning streak that began at the Australian Open and concluded in the semifinals of the Pacific Life Open (now known as the Indian Wells Open).
