"Actually inhumane" - Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend Ayan Broomfield chronicles chilly New York outing with mother; taps into Canadian side with skating
Frances Tiafoe’s girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, recently shared highlights from her brand trip to New York, which was organized by the airline Alaska Air. Known for her active presence on social media, Broomfield often gives fans a glimpse into her lifestyle.
Tiafoe met Broomfield in 2015, and the couple has since supported each other both on and off the court. Broomfield, a tennis player with a career-high ranking of No. 680, is currently inactive on tour. While she has never "officially" retired, she chose to step away from the sport after the COVID-19 pandemic, citing injuries and stress as key factors in her decision.
Broomfield has since shifted her focus to acting, modeling, and brand promotions. She recently collaborated with VSX by Victoria's Secret for a photo shoot and shared her stunning poses on Instagram.
Nearly a day later, she chronicled a chilly outing in New York and shared the highlights on her Instagram story. Broomfield first posted a clip of a platter of chicken nuggets topped with caviar and truffles, which she ended up enjoying.
"Having Caviar and Truffles on chicken nuggets was not on my bingo card for the night but I love," she wrote.
She later wrote:
"So Good."
The 27-year-old later shared a clip highlighting the chilly, windy weather in New York, calling it unsafe in the video and adding the caption:
"Actually inhumane to be this cold 3°C."
Broomfield later shared a clip sharing that she brought her mother with her on the brand trip. She wrote:
"I bring my mom to everything."
The Canadian then captured a glass of champagne being elegantly poured.
"the perfect holiday weekend," she captioned the clip.
Ayan Broomfield shared another story, showing herself getting a pair of ice skating boots before hitting the rink. She wrote:
"Alaska Air has me tapping into my Canadian side."
She later shared a clip of herself carefully balancing on the rink.
"This looked different in my head," she wrote.
Broomfield also enjoyed a truffle hot chocolate while strolling on the streets of New York.

Ayan Broomfield was left in stitches after a fan called Frances Tiafoe "Coach of the year"
Frances Tiafoe recently visited Howard University as "Captain of the Day" and shared photos from his time there. He played basketball with Howard's Bison men's team, posed with his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield, and also shared a picture of himself hugging football quarterback Jayden Daniels.
"It’s not about what you do…..it’s about who you are," the caption read.
A fan later reacted to his post in the comments.
"HU Coach of the Year," they wrote.
The comment left Ayan Broomfield in stitches and she shared her reaction:
"plsssss," Broomfield added two laughing emojis with it.
Broomfield has consistently supported her partner, notably lauding Tiafoe for his impressive semifinal run at the 2024 US Open.
