Alex de Minaur's girlfriend Katie Boulter pokes fun at his pictures with her as she accompanies him to Turin ahead of anticipated ATP Finals debut
Alex de Minaur's girlfriend, fellow tennis star Katie Boulter couldn't resist poking fun at her boyfriend's posing skills as the couple landed in Turin, Italy, for the Aussie's debut at the prestigious 2024 ATP Finals. De Minaur became the first Australian to qualify for the singles event since Lleyton Hewitt in 2004.
De Minaur, who secured the seventh spot in the ATP Finals, joins an elite group of players, including Jannik Sinner, Taylor Fritz, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, and Andrey Rublev.
Accompanying de Minaur in Turin for a few days, Boulter will soon head to Malaga, Spain, to represent Team Great Britain in the Billie Jean King Cup finals from November 13-20.
Boulter will join forces with Emma Raducanu, Harriet Dart, Heather Watson, Olivia Nicholls, and captain Anne Keothavong. Recently, the British tennis star reached a career-high ranking of World No. 23, following her impressive run at the Hong Kong Tennis Open, where she lost 1-6, 2-6 to Diana Shnaider in the final.
On November 6, Boulter shared a couple of photos on her Instagram stories, documenting her time in Turin. Among the posts was a humorous mirror selfie taken in an elevator, featuring de Minaur standing beside her with an awkward smile. Boulter playfully teased her boyfriend's posing skills in the caption:

Alex de Minaur expressed his pride and admiration for his girlfriend, fellow tennis pro Katie Boulter, who achieved a new career-high ranking of No. 23 after her stellar performance at the 2024 Hong Kong Tennis Open.
As the second seed, Boulter triumphed over Ito Aoi, Wang Xinyu, Anastasia Zakharova, and Yue Yuan to reach her fourth WTA final, where she ultimately lost to top seed Diana Shnaider with scores of 1-6, 2-6.
Reflecting on her tournament experience, Boulter took to Instagram to share her excitement about returning home after a challenging series of matches. De Minaur showed his support by reposting her update on his Instagram story, accompanied by a heartfelt message:
"So proud of you. New career high."
Fresh off his quarterfinals exit at the Paris Masters, de Minaur initially planned to participate in the Belgrade Open in Serbia. As the top-seeded player, he received a bye into the second round, where he was set to face either local wildcard Laslo Djere or Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka.
However, following the news of his ATP Finals qualification, de Minaur withdrew from the ATP 250 tournament before his second-round match, allowing lucky loser Duje Ajdukovic to take his place.
