Alexander Zverev's girlfriend Sophia Thomalla sends her support to German after his domestic abuse trial ends; rejoices over his French Open SF win

Alexander Zverev's girlfriend, Sophia Thomalla, showed her support for the German player following his French Open semifinal victory over Casper Ruud. She also celebrated the news of Zverev being cleared of all charges in his domestic trial against Brenda Patea.

At the beginning of the semifinal clash, it seemed like Ruud entered Philippe Chatrier poised to dominate Zverev completely. The latter visibly struggled, losing the first set 6-2 to Ruud due to a series of unforced errors. While it looked like the Norwegian had gained momentum, Zverev staged a comeback, winning the second set 6-2. The pattern continued over the next two sets, with the German player taking them 6-4 and 6-2, securing his place in his first Roland Garros final.

Ahead of the final against Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev's girlfriend, German model Sophia Thomalla, shared her excitement on Instagram. She posted an image of Zverev celebrating his victory, which was edited into a poster.

"OMG" Thomalla wrote with a hearts-eyes smiley and a bicep emoji.

"Yeah, can't describe the feelings. Obviously, extremely happy, especially, you know I got so much history on this court.
