Andre Agassi & Coco Gauff's ex-coach dejected as Raiders continue poor season with 'woeful offense' and 'zero imagitivity'
Coco Gauff and Andre Agassi's ex-coach Brad Gilbert expressed his disappointment at the Las Vegas Raiders' underwhelming season. He slammed the side's 'woeful' offense and other lists of things that they have lacked during the season.
The Raiders have severely underperformed this year, having won only two of their 14 matches so far. What's worse is that the three-time Super Bowl champions are currently on a 10-match losing streak. They are currently placed at the bottom of the AFC West table behind the reigning champions Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, and the Los Angeles Chargers.
Brad Gilbert, a huge supporter of the Raiders, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, December 17 to voice his disappointment with their severely underwhelming outing this season. He called them 'painful' and slammed their offense, dubbing it 'woeful'.
"My @Raiders are a painful 😣 2-11 with woeful offense, that has zero imagitivity, we are lousy and tanking stop 🛑 plowing up the middle when we can’t run 🏃♀️ the football 🏈 throw it downfield, also shocking we weren’t flexed out MNF," Coco Gauff's ex-coach wrote.
Gilbert also added how the Raiders were heading towards a disastrous 2-15 season, which may still not end up being enough for an unquestionable bottom finish since the New York Giants are also matching the Raiders with a 2-12 win/loss at the moment.
"How about that sign 🪧 just tank baby unfortunately we are so bad don’t have too, unfortunately 2-15 won’t get us the 1st pic @FellerBob Gman in tank mode too will be 2-15 and get 1st pic."
Gilbert has coached two of the most prolific tennis talents Andre Agassi, Coco Gauff, and many other tennis stars. He recently offered some advice to Andy Murray ahead of his coaching partnership with Novak Djokovic.
Coco Gauff's ex-coach imparts valuable wisdom to Andy Murray ahead of his blockbuster partnership with Novak Djokovic
Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic broke the internet when they announced their blockbuster partnership for the 2025 Australian Open. Murray will coach the Serb as he looks to become the first player to win 25 Grand Slams.
Ahead of his partnership, Coco Gauff's ex-coach Brad Gilbert imparted some advice to Murray that will help him while coaching the 37-year-old (as quoted by ATP Tour.com):
"You’re the coach, looking through the lens of the player who you’re coaching. I was like, ‘I would do X, Y and Z, but Andre plays nothing like me, so I can’t think about what I would do. I have to think about what Andre needed to do," Gilbert said.
Following her disappointing outing at the North American hard-court swing this year, Coco Gauff split ways with Brad Gilbert and brought Matt Daly on board.
