Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf's love story made into movie, set to premiere in June 2024
A tennis love story between the famous tennis couple Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf is slated to be released digitally. The movie "Perfect Match" will be available on the OTT Platform of Amazon Prime on June 28.
The love story between Agassi and Graf is a fabled story in the world of tennis. Agassi went on record and admitted that he was attracted to Graf before the duo had even met each other. The scene of their first formal introduction was the Wimbledon Ball 1992, which both attended as they were the Wimbledon champions that year.
However, the relationship took time to evolve as both of them were involved with other partners. In 1999, they had a practice session together in Key Biscayne. That meeting was another stepping stone that led to the foundation for the relationship between the duo for years to come. The couple had their much-awaited nuptials in 2001.
Recently it was announced that streaming giant Amazon Prime was set to release a movie based on the tennis power couple's relationship. The story is supposed to provide a fictionalized account of the couple's well-documented relationship. Lena Klenke and Toby Sebastian are set to take on the titular roles of Graf and Agassi, respectively.

"To hear you are loved so much is amazing" - Graf was overjoyed with emotion when Agassi introduced her at the Tennis Hall of Fame
The International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF) honors players and others who have made significant contributions to the sport of tennis.
When Steffi Graf was inducted in 2004, she was introduced by her husband Andre Agassi. The latter went on to define Graf as the individual who "changed" his life. Agassi said that he had no words to encapsulate what Graf meant to him.
"As I attempt to find words worthy to introduce the person that has changed my life, I realize the words have yet to be invented that are large enough, colorful enough, or true enough to express the heart and soul of this woman that I love," said Agassi at Graf's Induction ceremony (via People.com)
Graf was overwhelmed with emotion on hearing her husband's speech and was grateful for the love she received from her better half.
"Not that this occasion isn't emotional enough, but to hear you are loved so much is amazing," said Graf (via People.com)
Agassi too was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2011.
