Aryna Sabalenka confirmed her first year-end World No. 1 ranking at the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Belarusian rallied in the latter half of the season and took advantage of Iga Swiatek's prolonged absence to leapfrog the Pole and earn the top rank.

At the WTA Finals, Swiatek was ousted in the Round Robin phase while Sabalenka lost to eventual champion Coco Gauff in the semifinals.

Following her exit, Sabalenka embarked on a romantic getaway with her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, in Paris. The couple was later seen in Miami, enjoying a courtside view of an NBA Miami Heat game. They also spent time with Frangulis' brother, Pedro, sharing lunch in the city.

The Oakberry founder took to Instagram on November 30 to share a carousel of images of the couple spending their offseason surrounded by friends and family. They had also met Felipe Massa, a former F1 driver who partnered seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher at Ferrari.

Frangulis captioned the post:

"Off season is a good season"
