Aryna Sabalenka jokes about training Georgios Frangulis to be an 'Instagram boyfriend' as she shares glimpses of their vacation post-US Open win

Aryna Sabalenka has joked about training her partner Georgios Frangulis to be 'an IG boyfriend' while vacationing in Greece. The Belarusian recently lifted her maiden US Open title to mark her second Grand Slam win of the year after the Australian Open.

After a quarterfinal exit from the French Open and withdrawal from Wimbledon, Sabalenka won the Cincinnati Masters, ousting Jessica Pegula in the final. She continued her form at the US Open, defeating Priscilla Hon, Lucia Bronzetti Ekaterina Alexandrova, Elise Bertens, Zheng Qinwen, and Emma Navarro in the first six rounds to face Pegula again. She clinched her debut US Open victory over the latter in a thrilling two-setter 7-5, 7-5.

Following her success in New York Majors, the 26-year-old and her boyfriend took a trip to Switzerland to celebrate. Shortly after the couple was spotted enjoying in Greece in loved-up photos. In her Instagram post, Aryna Sabalenka joked about teaching Frangulis to be 'an IG boyfriend'.

"Training @georgiosfrangulis to be an IG boyfriend," her caption read.

Frangulis hilariously commented in defense, claiming he is natural and doesn't need any lessons.

"im a natural, my love," he wrote.

Her photo carousel included her photo in a green bikini, a glass window selfie with her boyfriend, and the couple embracing inside the airplane. Sabalenka posed with her US Open trophy and a table full of delectable food on the fourth slide and followed up with dinner date snaps and a sunset view.

The couple started dating in April 2024 and the Oakberry founder has since been a constant in his girlfriend's tennis matches. After her win at the final Grand Slam of the year, Sabalenka shared a celebratory kiss with her boyfriend on the court.

Sabalenka and Frangulis were treated to a beautiful buffet, consisting of panko-fried items and tarts. The plates were adorned with exotic flowers like orchids but the cake with the tennis racket caught the most attention. The neon yellow cake was an honor to the Belarusian's victory at Flushing Meadows.

She was seen clicking a selfie with the cake while Frangulis looked on with a champagne glass in hand.

Aryna Sabalenka extended her Grand Slam singles win tally to three, adding the 2024 Open title to the 2023 and 2024 Australian Open. Her doubles wins came from the 2021 Australian Open and 2019 US Open.
