Aryna Sabalenka shares a glimpse of her love life, posts romantic picture with her beau

World No. 5 Aryna Sabalenka recently shared a picture with her boyfriend, former ice hockey player Konstantin Koltsov.

The picture, which had her fans in awe, shows the tennis player in an embrace with Koltsov as they look passionately into one another's eyes.

Over the course of Konstantin Koltsov's 18-year ice hockey career, he competed for Belarus in both the IIHF World Championships and the Winter Olympics. He also played in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2003-04 season, scoring nine goals and twenty assists.

Aryna Sabalenka kicked off her 2022 season with a second-round exit at the Adelaide International. Seeded second at the Australian Open, the Belarusian lost to Kaia Kanepi 5-7, 6-2, 7-6(7) in the fourth round. Sabalenka then reached the quarterfinals of the Doha Open, losing to World No.1 Iga Swiatek in straight sets.

In her next two tournaments, the Belarusian was defeated in the second round. At the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Sabalenka went down to Jasmine Paolini 2-6, 6-3, 6-3. At the Miami Open, the 24-year-old lost to Irina-Camelia Begu in straight sets.

At the Stuttgart Open, Aryna Sabalenka played sensational tennis to reach the final. En route, she beat the likes of Anett Kontaveit and Paula Badosa. In the summit clash, she lost to Swiatek again in straight sets.

Her losing streak against Swiatek continued at the Italian Open, where she lost 6-2, 6-1 in the semifinals.

At Roland Garros, Sabalenka lost to Camila Giorgi in the third round. She then made the final of the Libema Open before losing to Ekaterina Alexandrova, 7-5, 6-0.

Sabalenka looked in good touch at the US Open but once again fell to Swiatek in the last four. The Belarusian finally had her revenge over the World No. 1, beating her in the semifinals of the season-ending WTA Finals. However, she lost in the final to Caroline Garcia.
