ATP Rankings update: Libema Open champion Alex de Minaur scales a new career high, Jack Draper soars following maiden career title in Stuttgart

Alex de Minaur and Jack Draper's title-winning runs over the past weekend have translated into some big gains in this week's ATP rankings. The Australian continued his career-best season by winning the Libema Open.

It marked his ninth career title, second of the year, as well as his second on grass. De Minuar beat Sebastian Korda 6-2, 6-4 in the final, and did not drop a set the entire week. His latest victory pushed him up by a couple of spots to No. 7, a new career high.

Draper outlasted Matteo Berrettini to claim his maiden ATP title at the Boss Open in Stuttgart. Having lost his first two finals, it looked like the Brit would suffer another heartbreak after going down a set in the summit clash.

However, Draper staged a stunning fightback to score a 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4 win over Berrettini. The 22-year-old rose by nine spots to No. 31, a new career milestone, and is likely to be seeded at the Wimbledon Championships as well.

Draper also became the top-ranked male British player, and the youngest to hold that distinction since Andy Murray. He'll aim to continue the momentum at the Cinch Championships in London, where he could bump into Carlos Alcaraz in the second round.

Luciano Darderi (No. 34), Flavio Cobolli (No. 49), Pavel Kotov (No. 50), Sumit Nagal (No. 71) and Zizou Bergs (No. 77) are the other players to reach new career highs in this week's ATP rankings.

Jannik Sinner begins his second week atop the ATP rankings

Jannik Sinner remains comfortably seated atop the ATP rankings for another week, following his ascension to the top last week. He will be in action at the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle this week.

Carlos Alcaraz remains steady at No. 2, and he headlines the field at this week's Cinch Championships, where he's the defending champion. The Spaniard has no shot at dethroning Sinner from the top spot at least during the grass swing, given the amount of points he's defending.

Novak Djokovic is recovering quite well after undergoing surgery to deal with the injury which forced him out of the French Open. He's a non-mover at No. 3 and is followed by Alexander Zverev (No. 4), and Daniil Medvedev (No. 5).

Andrey Rublev is up next at No. 6, and as mentioned above, de Minaur is at No. 7. The Australian's rise pushed Casper Ruud and Hubert Hurkacz down a spot each to No. 8 and No. 9 respectively, and Grigor Dimitrov closed out the region at No. 10.
