Ben Shelton reacted to Taylor Fritz's new blonde look. Fritz caught everyone by surprise, including his girlfriend Morgan Riddle, with his new hair. It was a decision the American had contemplated for years and he finally pulled it off recently.
Initially, Fritz sparked a debate among fans when he was spotted on stage during a Kygo concert in Los Angeles. The American tennis star sang a few words from the Norwegian artist's hit song 'Stargazing' and a video of it was uploaded on social media.
Fans questioned if the 26-year-old had actually dyed his hair or it was the lighting. However, it was soon revealed that Fritz had, in fact, dyed his hair blonde.
Reacting to his compatriot's new hair, Shelton took to his Instagram Story to reshare an image of blonde Fritz and wrote:
"Kinda fire tho"
Shelton added a huge crying emoji along with it. Fritz reshared Shelton's reaction on his Instagram Story with a laughing emoji.
For at least three years straight, Fritz has been putting up a poll on Instagram asking his followers if he should dye his hair blonde. Once, his girlfriend Morgan Riddle jokingly threatened anyone who voted 'yes' in Fritz's poll. However, the American tennis star finally dyed his hair.

Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle took to her Instagram Story to inform fans that she was as surprised as them by her boyfriend's blonde hair. In a series of stories, Riddle uploaded a screenshot of a chat with Fritz where she said:
"I didn’t think you actually would. I thought you were just getting a hair cut."
Fritz responded "No" and Riddle continued:
"Oh My God," she added.
"Would just like everyone to know I was also blindsided by this," she captioned the story.
Further, Fritz also broke his silence on the matter as he took to his Instagram to let fans know why he dyed his hair blonde.
"A lot of people asking me why? ... No reason other than I just thought it would be funny. After seeing all the reactions and overreactions, I was right, it’s hilarious," Fritz wrote.
It is still unclear if Fritz will sport his new blonde hair on the court. His next tournament could be the Paris Masters, which is set to begin next week.
