Boris Becker reacts to "priceless moment" between Rafael Nadal and his baby son at Paris Olympics 2024

Boris Becker adored Rafael Nadal’s recent interaction with his baby son at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Spaniard spent some jolly time with the 21-month-old before heading to the court for his match with Carlos Alcaraz.

Nadal and Alcaraz locked horns with Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof on Tuesday, July 30. They confirmed their place in the men’s doubles quarterfinals with a 6-4, 6-7 (2) [10-8] victory. The Spanish pair’s families, including Rafael Nadal’s son, were in attendance at the match.

The 21-month-old also accompanied his mother, Maria Francisca Perello, to the players’ pre-match warmup. Rafael Nadal, overjoyed to see them, carried his child in his arms. Rafa Jr., too, appeared content to be with his father as he engaged in an animated interaction before giving him a sweet hug. The adorable moment was captured on camera and caught Boris Becker’s attention when a fan shared the clip on X.

"Priceless moment," the father of four wrote.

Boris Becker has been following Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal’s journey at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Spaniards participated in both singles and men’s doubles. While Alcaraz is still alive in singles, having reached the quarterfinals, Nadal’s hopes for a second gold in the category (after Beijing 2008) were crushed by Novak Djokovic (6-1, 6-4) in the second round.

The former World No. 1s are set to battle against American duo Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek for a place in the men's doubles semifinals on Wednesday, July 31. This is their first stint together, for which they did not commence their preparations until last week. However, they have quickly established a harmonious partnership, as evidenced by their results.

Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz have been training together and bonding off the court, much to the delight of the tennis community. Ahead of their campaign, Alcaraz said:

"We are going to give our best and hopefully we can enjoy a great game. I have less experience and I hope to be able to adapt quickly to playing doubles. I like to play it, but due to personal issues I have never been able to. I can learn everything from Rafa. That way of competing, of fighting, and that humility off the court," he told the press, according to Eurosport.

Boris Becker was delighted by their camaraderie. He wrote:

"Love the brotherhood between Rafa and Carlito! Spain. Example for other countries!"
