"Can't be tagged in the same line" - Emma Raducanu responds to Carlos Alcaraz's successful "trick shot"; hilariously hints at failing the challenge

Emma Raducanu has hilariously responded to Carlos Alcaraz's social media post featuring the Spaniard's successful execution of a trick shot. The entire exchange stemmed from Ons Jabeur's challenge to her colleagues.

On Saturday, May 18, Jabeur shared a video of herself on social media. The video featured her during a clay court practice session as she performed kick-ups using a tennis ball before launching it high into the air, following which she hit a serve. The Tunisian's post also featured a caption.

"I challenge you to do this trick shot, show me what you got," Jabeur wrote in an Instagram post.

Later, Jabeur challenged Alcaraz and Raducanu to perform the trick shot. The Spaniard accepted it, writing:

"I'll do it."

However, the Brit expressed reluctance, citing her poor kick-up skills.

"I have 2 left feet," Raducanu wrote.

Alcaraz proceeded to keep his word. While the Spaniard didn't appear as comfortable performing the trick shot as Jabeur did, he still made it happen, and shared the moment on Instagram with the caption:

"What about this one, Ons?"

An impressed Jabeur lauded the two-time Grand Slam champion for his efforts.

"Very good bravo," Jabeur commented.

However, at this point, Raducanu hinted hilariously at failing the challenge.

"Damn I can't be tagged in the same line w this," Raducanu responded.

Raducanu recently pulled out of the French Open qualifying rounds after being denied a wild card entry into the year's second Grand Slam. On Sunday, May 19, she announced that she would shift her attention to grass and hard courts in a bid to ensure her fitness for the rest of the season.

"It's important for me to keep laying on the foundations and I will use the time to do a healthy block before the grass and subsequent hard court seasons to give myself a chance to keep fit for the rest of the year," Raducanu said (via BBC).

Meanwhile, Alcaraz is continuing to recover from a muscle injury in his right arm that prevented him from competing at the recently concluded Italian Open. The Spaniard has been training at his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero's academy to make sure he arrives at the French Open fully fit.
