Canadian Open Prize Money Breakdown: How much did 2024 champion Alexei Popyrin and runner-up Andrey Rublev earn?

Andrey Rublev and Alexei Popyrin locked horns in a blockbuster title clash at the 2024 Canadian Open, with Popyrin beating the Russian to clinch the ATP Masters 1000 title. Both players will be rewarded handsomely for their success in Montreal, as the prize money for the event totals $6,795,555.

Popyrin claimed a commanding 6-2, 6-4 win over the World No. 6 to secure his maiden ATP Masters 1000 title and his third tour-level title. The Australian will earn $1,049,460 for his triumph, while Rublev will take home $573,090 for his run to the title clash.

Matteo Arnaldi and Sebastian Korda, who lost in the semifinals, will each receive $313,395 for their impressive performances. Meanwhile, the players who reached the quarterfinals, namely top seed and defending champion Jannik Sinner, second seed Alexander Zverev, fourth seed Hubert Hurkacz and Kei Nishikori, will each be awarded $170,940.

For their third-round finishes, Alejandro Tabilo, Brandon Nakashima, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Nuno Borges, Grigor Dimitrov, Arthur Rinderknech, Casper Ruud and Holger Rune will each take home $91,435.

Players who were ousted in the second round, including third seed Daniil Medvedev, eighth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, ninth seed Taylor Fritz, 10th seed Tommy Paul and 11th seed Ben Shelton, will each receive $49,030. Meanwhile, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Frances Tiafoe and the other players who lost in the first round will each pocket $27,165.

The competitors that did not advance to the main draw of the Canadian Open will also benefit from their efforts at the ATP Masters event. While the players who were eliminated in the second round of qualifiers will each earn $13,915, those who lost in the first qualifying round will each take home $7,080.

Top seeds Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos won the men's doubles title at the 2024 Canadian Open, beating No. 3 seeds Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury 6-2, 7-6(4) in the final. Granollers and Zeballos will earn $322,000 for their triumph, while runner-ups Ram and Salisbury will receive $174,920

For their semifinal finishes in Montreal, fourth seeds Mate Pavic and Marcelo Arevalo, as well as 14th seeds Hugo Nys and Jan Zielinski, will each take home $96,090.

Meanwhile, quarterfinalists Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, Kevin Krawietz and Tim Putz, Daniil Medvedev and Roman Safiullin, and Jack Draper and Jannik Sinner will each be awarded $53,010.

The pairs that were eliminated in the second round of the Canadian Open, including second seeds Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden, will each be paid $29,140. Meanwhile, the teams that suffered first-round exits will each earn $15,910.
