Carlos Alcaraz recently claimed that there is a huge fanship to the strong rivalry he has built with Sinner. After his semifinal match against Sinner at the Miami Open, which the Italian won 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-2, Alcaraz noted that he feels something special about the crowd when playing against the Italian, highlighting the growing influence of their rivalry.

"I feel something different about the crowd when I play against Jannik. You know, I think around the world is probably all the people watching this match because I think it's really beautiful to watch," Alcaraz said.

Meanwhile, reflecting on his intense battle with Alcaraz, Sinner expressed his satisfaction at the level of tennis that the two players displayed throughout the match.

"We both played a very, very high level of tennis again. We both tried to play very aggressive tennis and today it went my way so I'm very happy," stated Sinner (via ATP Tour).

With his win over Carlos Alcaraz, Sinner qualified for the Miami Open final. However, he was denied the title by the in-form Daniil Medvedev, who trounced the Italian in straight sets 7-5, 6-3.
