Caroline Wozniacki brought holiday cheer and laughter to her fans and fellow athletes alike when she shared an adorable yet comical snapshot of her children, Olivia and James, meeting Santa Claus. The Dane posted a side-by-side comparison of her kids’ reactions to their annual Santa visit.

Caroline Wozniacki is reveling in her offseason with her husband, former NBA player David Lee. The couple tied the knot in 2019 in a dreamy ceremony in Italy. Their love story has been graced with the arrival of two children—Olivia, born in June 2021, and James, born in October 2022. Wozniacki often shares glimpses of her life as a mother, delighting her fans with candid moments of her family.

On December 24, 2024, Wozniacki posted two side-by-side photos on X (formerly Twitter), capturing her kids’ reactions to visiting Santa Claus this year and last. In the snapshots, her daughter Olivia appeared calm and composed while sitting on Santa’s lap.

In stark contrast, her son James seemed overwhelmed, crying in both photos as Santa tried his best to pose for the picture. Wozniacki humorously captioned the images:

"Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Maybe next year Santa won’t seem so scary (second picture is from last year)."

Caroline Wozniacki concluded her 2024 season after her run at the US Open in September. She secured victories over Nao Hibino, Renata Zarazua, and Jessika Ponchet to advance to the fourth round, where she fell to Beatriz Haddad Maia in a tightly contested match, 2-6, 6-3, 3-6.

During a press conference in New York, Wozniacki spoke about balancing her tennis career with her roles as a wife and mother. She mentioned that while marriage hasn't drastically changed her routine, motherhood has made juggling personal and professional responsibilities challenging.

"Of course marriage is a big thing and I'm very happily married but when you get married it doesn't really change your preparation for training or matches or days off," Wozniacki said (via "Punto de Break").
"Having kids makes a big difference. Obviously my kids are there every day and I'm so grateful for that. It's the best job in the world and I love it. I try to make sure that I'm still a 100 per cent present mum whilst also trying to balance being the best tennis player I can be. I think that's where it can get a bit tricky sometimes," Wozniacki added.

Caroline Wozniacki competed in 13 tournaments this year, finishing with a 16-13 win-loss record. Her standout performances came at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and the Bad Homburg Open in Germany, where she reached the quarterfinals before falling to Iga Swiatek and Emma Navarro, respectively. She concluded the 2024 season ranked No. 70.
