Cincinnati Open Prize Money Breakdown: How much did 2024 winner Aryna Sabalenka and runner-up Jessica Pegula earn?

Aryna Sabalenka secured her second title of 2024 and 15th trophy overall at the Cincinnati Open, defeating home favorite Jessica Pegula 6-3, 7-5 in the final on Sunday, August 19. The Belarusian won her first title of the season at the Australian Open in January by coming out on top against Zheng Qinwen.

Sabalenka's victory in Cincinnati will earn her impressive prize money of $523, 485 while Pegula will take home a substantial $308, 320 for reaching the title bout. Iga Swiatek and Paula Badosa, who were eliminated in the semifinals, will each receive $158, 944.

Leylah Fernandez, Mirra Andreeva, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, and Liudmila Samsonova will each take home $72, 965 for their quarterfinal finishes at the WTA 1000 event.

Meanwhile, those who were knocked out in the third round — fifth seed Jasmine Paolini, 15th seed Marta Kostyuk, seventh seed Zheng Qinwen, Elina Svitolina, Elena Avanesyan, Taylor Townsend, Diana Shnaider, and Yulia Putintseva — will each earn $36, 454.

Defending champion Coco Gauff, Anna Kalinskaya, Caroline Wozniacki, Magdalena Frech, Elena Rybakina, Ashlyn Krueger, Daria Kasatkina, Karolina Muchova, Jelena Ostapenko, Karolina Pliskova, Anastasia Potapova, Lulu Sun, Varvara Gracheva, Magda Linette, Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, and Elisabetta Cocciaretto will each pocket $20,650 for reaching the second round.

Players who were eliminated in the opening round of the 2024 Cincinnati Open, including Ajla Tomljanovic, Linda Noskova, Elise Mertens, Emma Navarro, Viktoriya Tomova, Clara Burel, Robin Montgomery, Wang Yafan, Lucia Bronzetti, Wang Xinyu, Katie Boulter, Bianca Andreescu, Dayana Yastremska, Caroline Dolehide, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Donna Vekic, Zhang Shuai, Yue Yuai, Marie Bouzkova, Anhelina Kalinina, Beatriz Haddad Maia, Katerina Siniakova, Peyton Stearns and Harriet Dart, will get $14, 800.


Asia Muhammad and Erin Routliffe win Cincinnati Open 2024 women's doubles title

America's Asia Muhammad and New Zealand's Erin Routliffe won the women's doubles title at the 2024 Cincinnati Open, defeating the pair of Canada's Leylah Fernandez and Kazakhstan's Yulia Putintseva 3-6, 6-1, 10-4 on Sunday, August 18. The winning pair received $154, 160 while the losing duo took home $86, 710.

Linda Noskova and Diana Shnaider as well as Harriet Dart and Ellen Perez were eliminated in the semifinals and each pair got $46, 570.

Meanwhile, top seed Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend, fourth seeds Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani, seventh seeds Demi Schuurs and Luisa Stefani, as well as Tereza Mihalikova and Olivia Nicholls, each earned $24,090 after being knocked out in the quarterfinals.

Players who went home packing in the second round received $13,650, while those who exited in the opening round of the WTA 1000 tournament bagged $9,100.
