Coco Gauff and her younger brother Codey showered their mother Candi with heartwarming wishes on her birthday. The siblings adorably celebrated their mother on her special day by revisiting cherished memories of them together.
Gauff recently commenced her pre-season training for 2025, working on her fitness with treadmill sessions and intense weight training. However, the 20-year-old made time for family during Thanksgiving, embracing the holiday spirit by documenting their time dancing, taking pictures, and playing the Family Feud board game together.
The celebrations continued as Coco Gauff's mother Candi rang in her 55th birthday on Saturday, November 30. The World No. 3 took to social media and shared adorable pictures of them, referring to her mother as her "favorite" travel companion.
"Happy birthday mom I love you @candigauff," she posted on her Instagram story.
"My fav travel buddy," she wrote.
The 20-year-old's younger brother Codey also shared a touching message for their mother, posting it alongside a picture of him with his parents as they commemorated his commitment to playing college baseball at the University of Missouri.
"Happy birthday mom love you," he posted.
Coco Gauff's mother Candi had elatedly celebrated Codey's impressive milestone in his baseball journey, emphasizing that she was "super proud" of the 17-year-old's achievement.
"There's nothing like a mother-daughter relationship" - Coco Gauff on her bond with her mother Candi
Coco Gauff's sentiments about her mother Candi being her "favorite travel buddy" became evident during the Asian swing this year, as the 20-year-old expressed her gratitude for her mother's support and presence while competing in China.
Although the World No. 3 acknowledged that they occasionally argued due to spending too much time together, she highlighted the special uniqueness of their mother-daughter relationship.
"Yeah, I mean, both my parents are constant support all the time. My mom, it's just a motherly thing. There's nothing like a mother-daughter relationship. Especially in swings like Asia where it maybe is more isolated than usual, we just play Uno lot," Gauff said during a press conference at the Wuhan Open.
"We actually didn't argue. Yesterday I think was the first time we argued a little bit because we spend too much time with each other. It wasn't an argument, but we just get annoyed," she added.
Gauff also referred to her mother as her "biggest fan" and emphasized how much "easier" it was for her to compete on tour when one of her parents was by her side.
