Coco Gauff draws Jalen Sera's attention during Atlanta visit; latter gushes over her new selfies in stylish fit
Coco Gauff recently shared her latest look, including her new bohemian haircut with fans. The American posted a 5-picture carousel on Sunday, December 15, showcasing her stylish fit.
In the pictures, Gauff sported a brown quilted patchwork jacket paired with beige trousers. She also let her natural curls loose in a side-parted shoulder length haircut.
Gauff's post on Instagram drew many reactions including one from Jalen Sera. He gushed over Gauff's Atlanta pictures and wrote:
"ATL CO! ATL CO!"
He also commented on the 2023 US Open champion's fashion choices.
"Clean." Sera wrote using a brown-heart emoji.
Gauff lightheartedly replied to Sera with a soap emoji.
Gauff is enjoying a break during the offseason and had attended the 2024 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival with Sera last month. The duo enjoyed the performances of artists like Andre 3000, Doechi and Playboi Carti in the 10th edition of the music festival.
On the WTA tour, Gauff won the 2024 ASB Classic in Auckland and the China Open in Beijing. She later capped off her season by winning the prestigious year-end WTA Finals against Zheng Qinwin.
Sera had shown his support for the World No. 3 by congratulating her on the win over social media.

Coco Gauff lifted her maiden WTA trophy in Riyadh on November 9 following which Jalen Sera celebrated her triumph on social media.
Gauff came out on top after clashing with the likes of Jessica Pegula and Iga Swiatek in the round-robin group stage. She later ousted Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinals.
Gauff clashed with the 2024 Australian Open runner-up Zheng Qinwin in the finals. In the thrilling 3 hour encounter, the American rallied from a set down to eventually win the match 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(2).
With the win, Gauff earned $4,805,000 in prize money, the highest of a WTA event, and 1500 ranking points to end the year as World No. 3.
The WTA had shared a poster of Gauff celebrating her win on Instagram at the time. Sera re-shared the poster and used a salute emoji to call Gauff the "It Girl."
The duo have interacted with each other on many occassions including festivals, birthdays and significant achievements.
