Coco Gauff expresses delight as her brother Codey represents Miami Dolphins football team with her sponsor American Eagle

Coco Gauff extended appreciation to brother Codey Gauff for representing the Miami Dolphins home football team with American Eagle, the tennis player's clothing brand partner, working in collaboration for limited editions. The former World No.1 recently competed at the 2024 US Open but couldn't go past 4R.

Gauff's mother played basketball at Georgia State University and her father was a track athlete at Florida State University. Hailing from an athletic family, the three siblings, Coco, Codey, and Cameron Gauff, also set off on different sporting career paths.

While the seven-time career singles titles winner chose tennis, her next sibling, Codey, became a champion baseball player. In a recent Instagram post, Coco Gauff was ecstatic to see her brother donning a t-shirt from her sponsor brand, American Eagle, to represent their home football team, Miami Dolphins.

"lil brother representing @americaneagle," her caption read.

The youngest sibling, Cameron Gauff, fosters multiple sports, including tennis and football. He is also passionate about art, having designed the first New Balance kids performance tennis shoe, Coco CG1 Kids.

The 20-year-old won her first Grand Slam singles title at the 2023 US Open and first called their brothers to break the news. In an interview with Today Show, she hilariously recalled her brother's response.

"Both my brothers were the first two people I called. They didn’t answer.” (via People)

She continued:

"Finally, my brother called me back, but by then the ceremony had started. He was like, ‘I was running around the house and I didn’t hear my phone ring.’ ”

At the 2024 US Open, she faced defeat from World no. 8, Emma Navarro, in the fourth round.

Coco Gauff made history after winning the US Open in 2023. The Atlanta native became the first US teenager to win the coveted title, an honor that was previously held by Serena Williams, who achieved the same feat back in 1999. After her first Grand Slam win, in her victory speech, she addressed the people who doubted her and her tennis skills.

"Honestly, thank you to the people who didn’t believe in me. Like a month ago, I won a 500 title and people said I would stop at that. Two weeks ago, I won a 1000 title and people were saying that was the biggest I was going to get. So three weeks later, I’m here with this trophy right now," she voiced.

The 20-year-old picked the infamous line 'Thank you to the people who didn’t believe in me' and added it on the back of her latest American Eagle denim jacket. The quote, embossed on the jacket, is a combination of fonts. The other pieces from the limited-edition collaboration also include a corset tank top, miniskirt, denim cargo, and V-neck tank top.
