Coco Gauff proudly highlights younger brother Codey's prowess as he makes a mark at Minority Baseball Prospects event
Coco Gauff was all praise for her brother Codey's baseball prowess after he featured in the Minority Baseball Prospects Futures All-American game on September 29. The event also featured other top baseball prospects for the class of 2026.
Codey is one of Coco's two siblings, alongside their younger brother Cameron. While the 21-year-old tennis star has made her mark in tennis, her brothers have shown interest in other sports—Cameron aspires to become an NFL player, and Codey is dedicated to pursuing a baseball career.
Codey previously represented the San Diego Padres scout team at the 2024 16U NC Champs and later earned a spot in the lineup for the Minority Baseball Prospects All-American game. The 17-year-old also showcased his skills as a catcher during the event.

Coco Gauff later gushed over Codey's impressive skills sharing the clip on her Instagram story.
"Lil bro is fye @codeygauff," she wrote.
Coco Gauff's mother, Candi, previously showed her support for Codey when he was selected for the Minority Baseball Prospects Futures All-American game.
Coco Gauff often shares glimpses of her time with her brothers on social media. The 2023 US Open champion has recounted numerous anecdotes about them.
Coco Gauff and mother Candi recently celebrated Codey's 17th birthday
Coco Gauff and her mother, Candi, celebrated Codey's 17th birthday last month. Through a collage on her Instagram story posted on September 21, the World No. 6 highlighted many cherished memories with Codey, accompanied by a caption:
"He never takes pictures with me so this is all I have."
Furthermore, the 20-year-old shared her selfie with Codey.
"Happy Birthday to my brother @codeygauff thank you for making me a sister and it is the best thing in the world for me to be your sibling. I love you and enjoy your born day," she wrote.
Their mother, Candi, also showered Codey with blessings by sharing a picture of them from Truist Park in Atlanta.
"Happy Birthday my sonshine. You are my favorite oldest son. I love you. Continue to be loving, kind, intelligent, humbled and driven. Be great," Candi wrote.
Coco Gauff is currently the fourth seed at the 2024 China Open. The American reached the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 event after defeating Naomi Osaka and will next face Yulia Starodubtseva on October 3 for a place in the semifinals.
