Coco Gauff's mother Candi sends her love to son Codey as he features in Minority Baseball Prospects Futures All-American lineup of top 2026 prospects

Coco Gauff's mother Candi has shared her support for her son Codey as he is set to take part in the Minority Baseball Prospects Futures All-American game. The highly anticipated event, which features the top 2026 prospects, will take place on Sunday, September 29.

Coco Gauff has two younger brothers, Codey and Cameron, both of whom have developed an interest in sports. While Codey is committed to pursuing a baseball career, Cameron is honing his skills in both football and tennis.

Codey, who represented the San Diego Padres scout team during the 2024 16U NC Champs, has been included in the lineup for the Minority Baseball Prospects All-American game. The game is expected to attract 80 scouts who will observe the best prospects from the class of 2026.

Coco Gauff's mother Candi celebrated Codey's inclusion in the lineup on social media, expressing her love for the 17-year-old.

"@codeygauff ❤️❤️," she posted on her Instagram story.

In an interview with USA Baseball in June this year, their father Corey opened up about his children's athletic interests, disclosing that while Coco Gauff decided to pursue tennis at a young age, Codey turned to baseball later after trying his hand at football and tennis.

He also highlighted the similarities between the siblings, emphasizing that they both possessed a strong work ethic and had developed unique skill sets in their respective sports.

"Coco chose what she wanted to do very early on. Codey played football for a little bit and some basketball, kind of arriving at baseball a little bit later in life than Coco did with tennis, but they both worked really hard growing up. They both have unique skill sets in their respective sports. It’s been great to watch them grow," he said.

Coco Gauff's mother Candi has joined World No. 6 in Beijing for the WTA 1000 China Open. The 20-year-old kicked off her campaign with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Clara Burel and will square off against Katie Boulter in the third round.

If Gauff triumphs over Boulter, she could set up a blockbuster fourth-round clash against Naomi Osaka, provided the four-time Grand Slam champion defeats Katie Volynets.
