Coco Gauff's mother Candi supports son Codey as he prepares for future in baseball
Coco Gauff's mother, Candi Gauff, expressed her support for her son, Codey Gauff's career in baseball. The latter recently took part in the Minority Baseball Prospects Futures All-American Game on September 29.
The event is the biggest game in the country, which includes around 80 scouts with the best players of the 2026 class. Codey Gauff is one of them. He was a part of the San Diego Padres scout team during the 2024 16U NC Champs and was selected as a potential participant in the Minority Baseball Futures All-American Game.
Minority Baseball Futures All-American Game shared a post on their official Instagram handle that showcased their merchandise and the players donning them during the match. One of the pictures included Codey Gauff as well, who is now one of the faces representing MBP. The post's caption read:

Following this, Coco Gauff's mother re-shared the post with his son's picture on her Instagram story, extending her support towards his career. She added the emojis:

Coco Gauff's mother shared a heartfelt wish on Codey Gauff's birthday
Coco Gauff's mother, Candi Gauff, recently shared a heartwarming wish for his son, Codey, on his 17th birthday. She shared a picture with her son on Instagram and added a cute note in the caption, calling him her "favorite" and also praising him for his kindness and intelligence.
Coco Gauff also shared a heartfelt wish for his brother on her Instagram story. She at first shared a collage of four pictures with him and wrote:
"He never takes pictures with me anymore so this is all I have @codeygauff"
Following this, she shared another picture with him, posing in front of a scenic beauty, and extended her wish, showcasing gratitude for being his sibling.
"Happy Birthday to my brother @codeygauff. Thank you for making me a sister and it is the best thing in the world for me to be your sibling. I love you and enjoy your born day."
The World's No.6 is currently competing in the China Open, and her last match was against Katie Boulter on September 29 at the Diamond Court. Gauff dominated the latter and advanced to another round with a score line of 7-5, 6-2. Her next match is on October 1, and the contender is yet to be decided.
Prior to the China Open, Coco Gauff competed at the US Open 2024; however, unfortunately, she could only reach round 4, where she was bested by Emma Navarro at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 2, with a scoreline of 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
