"Cutest Olympian" - Andre Agassi & daughter Jaz fondly revisit Steffi Graf's historic 1988 Olympics run & Golden Slam achievement
Andre Agassi and daughter Jaz Elle recently revisited Steffi Graf's historic run from the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. The German convincingly defeated Argentina's Gabriela Sabatini 6-3, 6-3 to win her first Olympic gold and complete a Golden Slam.
Agassi and Steffi Graf are among the most dominant tennis couples ever. The duo got married in 2001 and have two children— son Jaden and daughter Jaz Elle.
Graf is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time, having won 22 Grand Slams in the Open era. Moreover, she also won all four Majors and an Olympic gold in 1988 thus completing a Golden Slam, a feat never achieved by anyone else in women's tennis.
Graf's daughter, Jaz Elle Agassi recently shared a glimpse from that iconic final in her Instagram story. The 20-year-old also tagged Andre Agassi and wrote:

Steffi Graf boasts three Olympic medals, Andre Agassi one
Besides her emphatic singles triumph at the 1988 Summer Games in Seoul, Steffi Graff won two more medals. She secured a bronze alongside Claudia Kohde-Kilsch in women's doubles at the same event. Graf also came close to winning her second gold at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics but took silver after losing to Jennifer Capriati of the USA.
In a previous interview with CNN, Graf recalled her victory in Seoul, stating it was bigger than winning a Major for her. The German revealed that she was unprepared for the attention she received in her country after securing an Olympic gold.
"To me this was bigger than a grand slam, it was more special. It’s a different feeling, it’s very unique and definitely more special. I was a bit tired emotionally, probably physically as well. I just remember arriving at the airport and all the attention that I was getting, I just think I wasn’t quite prepared for it at that point," Graf said
Andre Agassi on the other hand, won his first and only medal, a gold, at the 1996 Atlanta Games. He defeated Spain's Sergi Bruguera 6-2, 6-3, 6-1 to secure his first Olympic gold medal. Moreover, Graf and Agassi are the only tennis couple to have each won an Olympic gold medal.
