"Dad thought I looked pretty" - Coco Gauff shares "bits and pieces" of her life ahead of her campaign at Cincinnati Open 2024

Coco Gauff recently shared some "bits and pieces" moments of her life ahead of her campaign at the 2024 Cincinnati Open. She is the defending champion at the WTA 1000 hard court tournament.

Following her semifinal run at the 2024 French Open and the ecotrans Ladies Open in Berlin, Gauff has had a series of lacklustre performances. She reached the fourth round of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships before falling 4-6, 3-6 to compatriot Emma Navarro. At the Paris Olympics, she reached the third round before being bested 6-7(7), 2-6 by eventual silver medalist Donna Vekic.

Most recently, Coco Gauff competed at the 2024 Canadian Open before heading to Cincinnati. She was the top seed in the tournament and began her campaign in the second round after a first-round bye. She defeated qualifier Yafan Wang 6-4, 6-4 in the opening round but lost to Diana Shnaider 4-6, 1-6 in the third round.

At the Cincinnati Open, Gauff is seeded second and will begin her title defense by going up against Yulia Putintseva in the second round after receiving a first-round bye.

Before beginning her Cincinnati campaign, Gauff took to social media to share a series of pictures that she described as "bits and pieces" of her life recently.

Among the photos she posted, one was a bit blurry. The World No.2 revealed that she shared that picture despite it being a bit blurred because it was taken by her father, Corey Gauff, who remarked that she looked beautiful. Gauff also shared some photos from her time in Paris during the Olympics.

"Bits n pieces of life recently 💫 💖 ik the first picture is kinda blurry but my dad took it because he thought i looked pretty & wanted to capture it & I luv it just for that reason so i’m sharing it w ya’ll. k bye 🤟🏾 ," Gauff captioned her Instagram post.
