Dubai Tennis Championships 2023: Alexander Zverev explores acclaimed 'Museum of the Future' ahead of tournament opener | WATCH
Before the intense tennis action begins at the 2023 Dubai Tennis Championships, Alexander Zverev took some time off to explore a famous landmark in the city of Dubai. The seventh seed paid a visit to the 'Museum of the Future', which has gained a lot of prominence for its architecture and state-of-the-art technology.
The former World No. 2 took a detailed tour of the museum that included some highly impressive exhibits, giving many glimpses into how the future of the world might look.
The German tennis star is set to compete in the Dubai Tennis Championships for only the second time in his career, having last played there way back in 2015. As he explored the museum for the first time, Zverev was excited to visit a new place.
"I've been in Dubai a lot but I've only played the tournament once. Its the first time here (Museum of the Future) for me, so its nice to get to visit something new," Alexander Zverev said.

The current World No. 16 was left impressed by what he saw during his visit to the museum, praising the architecture as well as the exhibits.
"The architecture (here) is not something that you see everyday. I think that some of the things that are inside are even more interesting than the architecture...Of course, it's special," Zverev expressed.

After enjoying his experience at the Museum of the Future, Alexander Zverev expressed his excitement for the 2023 Dubai Tennis Championships. The German will begin his campaign in Dubai on Monday against the in-form Jiri Lehecka, who reached the semifinals of the Qatar Open earlier this week.
"The future is bright, let's go play some tennis now," Zverev said as he concluded his trip to the museum.
If Zverev beats Lehecka, he will face either Emil Ruusuvuori or Christopher O'Connell in the Round of 16, before a potential quarterfinal clash against 4th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime. The former US Open finalist last played at the Qatar Open, where he lost a three-set thriller against Andy Murray in the Round of 16. Earlier, he lost at the same stage of the ABN Amro Open in Rotterdam.
The Dubai Tennis Championships is only Alexander Zverev's fourth tournament since the 2022 French Open.
