ATP star Frances Tiafoe this week playfully teased his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, about her latest athletic photoshoot for Victoria's Secret, which was set on a tennis court. The couple has been together since 2015.
Broomfield, who is also a tennis player, along with being a content creator and fashion influencer, made her relationship with Tiafoe public in 2018. She often cheers on the American from the stands at his matches across the globe.
Recently, Broomfield took to social media to share a series of photos from her athletic photoshoot, done on a tennis court. The shoot was for VSX by Victoria's Secret, where she donned a striking red attire for the upcoming holiday season
The 27-year-old posed with tennis rackets and balls. Some of the images showed her wearing headphones while incorporating a resistance band tube into her workout routine. Broomfield captioned her Instagram post,
“‘Tis the season in @vsxofficial @victoriassecret #vspartner ❤️ use code VSAYAN for 20% off + free shipping over $35,"
Reacting to Broomfield's pictures, Frances Tiafoe humorously commented that he had "found" his headphones. He wrote,
“Found my headphones now"
Ayan Broomfield, originally from Ontario, spent her childhood in Canada before moving to the United States to attend Clemson University in South Carolina, where she also played tennis. She later transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles, and in 2019 won the NCAA doubles championship with Gabby Andrews.
The 27-year-old has also competed on the WTA Tour, making her debut at the 2014 Coupe Banque Nationale. She reached the Top 500 of the WTA Rankings while playing doubles with Maria Patrascu.
When Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend Ayan Broomfield commented on their relationship: “We balance each other out a lot”
Last year, Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend Ayan Broomfield described Tiafoe as a "happy-go-lucky" individual. On the other hand, she said she considered herself more balanced, happy, and serious.
Broomfield said (via ATPTour.com),
“Frances is just the most happy guy. He’s so happy-go-lucky . And I think for me, I'm more of a balance of happy and kind of just serious. I think we balance each other out a lot,”
Broomfield also mentioned that since she played professionally, she and Tiafoe understood the challenges of playing tennis at the highest level. She said,
“We can talk about tennis. I mean, I played tennis myself. It's nice to be able to chat about it and strategy. I just feel like we just understand it and what it takes for someone to go and be able to compete at the highest level.”
Frances Tiafoe wrapped up his 2024 tennis season at the Paris Masters. He faced wildcard Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the first round and lost in a close three-setter 7-6(5), 6-7(4), 3-6.
