Frances Tiafoe couldn’t hide his smile as he witnessed his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield’s golf progress during a heartwarming Facetime call. Broomfield, a former tennis player, shared a glimpse of her swing with Tiafoe while he was in the middle of getting a haircut at a barbershop.
Broomfield, currently in the United States, gave Tiafoe a virtual tour of her progress on the golf course while he was thousands of miles away in Austria, competing at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna.
Although Tiafoe was physically distant, the pair kept their connection strong, with Broomfield enthusiastically showing off her skills from the fairway. Tiafoe, meanwhile, flashed a proud smile, clearly enjoying every bit of his girlfriend’s progress.
The Canadian posted the adorable clip on her Instagram story on October 22, 2024, with Frank Ocean's "Pink+White" playing in the background.
"Showing foe my progress," Broomfield captioned the clip.
The couple's relationship began in 2015, went public in 2018, and have been inseparable ever since.
Frances Tiafoe, currently ranked 15th in the world, entered the Erste Bank Open as the fifth seed. The American tennis star began his ATP Tour campaign with a 6-4, 7-6(4) win over Cameron Norrie, advancing to the Round of 16 for the second time in Vienna.
There, he will face Matteo Berrettini in what will be their third ATP Tour meeting, with their head-to-head tied at 1-1. The winner of this matchup will move on to the quarterfinals to play either the winner of Karen Khachanov vs. qualifier Thiago Seyboth Wild or Brandon Nakashima vs. fourth seed Tommy Paul.

Born in Canada, Ayan Broomfield made headlines in the tennis world when she won the 2019 NCAA doubles championships while at UCLA and later served as Venus Williams’ body double in the 2021 biographical film King Richard.
