Fifth-seed Tiafoe advanced to the semifinals by defeating top seed Andrey Rublev 6-4, 7-6(3). This win marked the American's first victory over a Top 10 player since 2022, in the tournament where he made his ATP debut in 2014.

Meanwhile, Korda secured his spot in the last four with a decisive 6-4, 6-2 victory over Jordan Thompson. Despite Aussie's determined effort, the fourth seed's superior performance was too strong to counter.
On his way to facing Thompson, Korda got past Cristian Garin and another Aussie, Thanasi Kokkinakis.
This will be Frances Tiafoe and Sebastian Korda's sixth meeting on the ATP Tour, with the former holding a 3-2 head-to-head advantage.
