French Open prize money breakdown: How much did 2024 winner Iga Swiatek and runner-up Jasmine Paolini earn | Roland Garros

Iga Swiatek won her fourth title at the French Open with a 6-2, 6-1 win over 12th seed Jasmine Paolini in the final on Saturday (June 8). The Pole extended her winning streak to 19 matches, having previously won the Madrid Open and the Italian Open.

Swiatek now has 45 wins out 49 matches so far in the 2024 season, with five titles to her name. The French Open win means that the World No. 1 is just three titles shy of equaling Chris Evert's tally for the most number of tournaments won at the claycourt Major.

Iga Swiatek's third successive triumph at Roland Garros will fetch her a prize money of €2,400,000 while Jasmine Paolini's appearance in her maiden Grand Slam final will see her earn €1,200,000. Third seed Coco Gauff and Mirra Andreeva were both out in the semifinals, and they will earn €650,000 each.

Second seed Aryna Sabalenka, fourth seed Elena Rybakina, fifth seed Marketa Vondrousova and eighth seed Ons Jabeur will each take home €415,000 for their respective quarterfinal finishes at the Paris Major, while the eight players who exited in the fourth round will each pocket €250,000.

Seventh seed Zheng Qinwen and 14th seed Madison Keys were among the 16 players who bit the dust in the third round of the French Open and they will earn €158,000 each. Jelena Ostapenko and Daria Kasatkina were both ousted in the second round. They, along with the other 32 players, will receive €110,000 each.

The players who lost in the opening round of the claycourt Major will each earn €73,000.

Jasmine Paolini still has a chance to leave Paris with a winners' trophy, as she will feature in the women's doubles final. The 28-year-old is partnering compatriot Sara Errani, and they are the 11th seeds. Standing between the Italian pair and the French Open women's doubles title are fifth seeds Coco Gauff and Katerina Siniakova.

Whichever pair comes through, will win a prize money of €590,000 while the runners-up will earn €295,000. The pairs, who lost in the semifinals, will each pocket €148,000 while those, who were knocked out in the quarterfinals, will fetch €80,000. The teams, who were ousted in the third round, will each earn €43,500 while the ones, who were eliminated in the second round, will receive €27,500 each.

The pairs, who lost in the first round of the women's doubles event at the clay-court Major, will each be paid €17,500.
