French Open Prize Money and Ranking Points Breakdown: How much did 2025 champion Carlos Alcaraz and runner-up Jannik Sinner earn?

Carlos Alcaraz put on a thrilling display to successfully defend his French Open title, overcoming rival Jannik Sinner in a hard-fought 4-6, 6-7(4), 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-6(2 win in the final on Sunday, June 8. The victory marked his fifth Grand Slam title and first of the season, after failing to win the Australian Open earlier this year.

Alcaraz's triumph in Paris earned him a hefty $2,901,024 from the tournament's record $61,423,680 prize pool, along with 2000 ranking points, while Sinner took home $1,450,512 and 1300 ranking points. Novak Djokovic and Lorenzo Musetti received $784,983 each after being eliminated in the semifinals.

Third seed Alexander Zverev, 12th seed Tommy Paul, 15th seed Frances Tiafoe, and unseeded Alexander Bublik all exited in the quarterfinals. Each of them earned $500,569 for their efforts.

Meanwhile, players eliminated in the fourth round, including fifth seed Jack Draper, 10th seed Holger Rune, 13th seed Ben Shelton, 17th seed Andrey Rublev, 25th seed Alexei Popyrin, Tallon Griekspoor, Cameron Norrie, and Daniel Altmaier, took home $301,479 each.
