The former German player also claimed that Nadal will be the "big favorite" for the 2022 French Open, where a win could take his Grand Slam tally to 22. However, he believes that the Spaniard's triumph in Melbourne will "affect" both Djokovic and Federer and motivate them to "win another Grand Slam" title.

In the same interview, hailing Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic as the "three legends" of the sport, Becker stated that he "never thought" that three players would dominate the ATP tour at the same point in time. He also stressed that their record of winning 20 Grand Slams will be tough for any player to emulate in the future.
Becker further asserted that he hopes the 'Big 3' will "continue competing" on the ATP tour for many more years.
