Juan Carlos Ferrero reportedly signed a groundbreaking deal with Nike earlier this week, marking his first collaboration with the brand. This partnership extends to his Ferrero Tennis Academy in Alicante, Spain, which has also shifted its allegiance from Head to Nike and Babolat—both brands famously endorsed by Carlos Alcaraz.

After a long-term partnership with Head, the academy’s players will now exclusively use Babolat rackets, aligning with Alcaraz’s equipment choices.

This move is seen as Nike’s strategic investment in the enduring Ferrero-Alcaraz partnership. While financial details remain undisclosed, these deals not only elevate Ferrero’s profile but also position his academy as a leading tennis training hub in Spain.

Meanwhile, Ferrero is training Alcaraz for the 2025 season. The World No. 3 finished 2024 with two Grand Slam titles and an Olympic silver medal. He held a 54-13 record this season and would be hoping to bring more consistency to his performance to regain the top rank.
