Andy Murray was spotted cheering for the Great Britain women's hockey team alongside his daughter Sofia during their match against Argentina at the 2024 Paris Olympics, just days after his retirement. The Brit and his daughter were later seen enjoying the final of the women's vault event with Billie Jean King.

After winning numerous accolades in his illustrious career, Murray announced his decision to hang up his racket after the 2024 Paris Olympics ahead of the tournament. He decided his final dance would come in men's doubles, for which he teamed up with compatriot Dan Evans.

The duo kicked off their campaign against Japan's Kei Nishikori and Taro Daniel and won the match after saving five match points in the deciding 10-point tie-breaker. They followed this win up with another tie-breaker thriller against Belgium's Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen, saving two match points in the process to reach the quarterfinals.

However, the Brit duo lost 6-2, 6-4 to third seeds Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul in an hour and 16 minutes, bringing an end to the two-time Olympic gold medalist's career on August 1.

Merely days after his retirement from tennis, Andy Murray was spotted with his daughter Sofia cheering on the Great Britain women's hockey team during their match against Argentina. The Brits lost 0-3 and are currently placed fourth on the Pool B table.

Later on, the father-daughter duo was seen watching the women's vault final alongside tennis legend Billie Jean King. The American took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a selfie with Murray and Sofia and mentioned how retirement looked good on the 37-year-old.

A fan also posted a video of Andy Murray eating a chocolate donut while enjoying the Women's Vault final.

When asked by a fan what his sporting and life goals were after retirement through Team Great Britain's TikTok, Andy Murray revealed that his sporting goal was to become a scratch golfer. He later discussed his life goals, which he mentioned were to be a good dad and be there for his family.

"Life goals, to try to be a good dad. Be home as much as I can for my kids while they're still growing up, be around for my wife, that's what I am most looking forward to."

Along with Sofia, Murray has two daughters Edie and Lola, and one son Teddy with his wife Kim Sears.
